My child's entire front of her was cut by a male child at her daycare. My child is only 3 years old. It is said that the child brought scissors from home and accessed his book bag took the scissors out and cut the child's hair.
I am concerned about the supervision in the classroom. i am also concerned about children having unsupervised access to book bags. Also the scissors had to have been sharp, because my child's hair is very long
If you are asking if there is a lawsuit or claim, I would have to say no as the only "injury" is cut hair, which will grow back. My. recommendation is to find another daycare.
Discuss it with the owners of the daycare and if you are not satisfied that it is safe going forward, find another one.
Agree with the others who have answered before me. Meet with administration and/or change daycare. You could report it to the State as well; but to what end.

Thank god nothing more serious happened. You should discuss this matter with the owners of the daycare center so they can put in procedures making it unlikely this will happen again. No lawyer will be needed here.

I agree that you need to first discuss your concerns with the daycare. Your question is not clear at all, however.
You first wrote: "What to do when my child's hair i cut at a daycare?" - so do you /did you cut your own child's hair?
You also wrote that ... "My child's entire front of her was cut by a male child at her daycare." Was the child cut, or was her hair cut, or were her clothes cut? I am not sure who or what was cut.
And your first question asked "What to do when my child's hair i cut at a daycare?" - so were you involved with your daughter getting cut or her hair getting cut?
If another child brought scissors and harmed another child, the daycare should be aware of that situation and address it with the child's parents.
