I got a ticket for red light violation. I already paid the fine and attended traffic school and got email from the court stating that the case is closed. The exact email stated "Your traffic school Certificate of Completion has been processed by the court and your case has been closed.
". However I have received a notice of correction and proof of service stating location of violation needs to be changed and date of appearance has been changed. I have gotten 2 of these mails, 2 months after the case was closed. Do I need to do anything about this or just ignore it?
I wouldn't recommend just ignoring it. Probably best to visit the traffic court in person to check things out.

Do not ignore it, as it could lead to a bench warrant and a hold on your license. Ask a local, experienced traffic ticket attorney to look at the mail and tell you what he or she thinks. Good luck to you.
You should probably double check with the traffic clerk just to be safe so that the court does not mistakenly think the case is still open. If your case is in one of the Orange County courts you will need to make a visit to the courthouse - they don't have posted phone numbers for the traffic clerks.
