I had a joint account with my grandparents with Wells Fargo and used their line of credit for my personal use. My grandparents caught me several times and paid off the balance. I still had access to the account and ended up spending 17,000$ my grandma paid off 11,000 but Wells Fargo is calling us to court may 1st. What should we do ?
Unless your grandparents want to see an enforceable judgment entered against them they should hire a good defense lawyer to investigate and try to find some way to avoid the debt. Failing that you might try to negotiate a reasonable payment plan to stop the litigation.
