What should i do if i unknowingly committed fraud?
im am my grandma only caretaker i handled all of her affairs before she passed and currently still is a few weeks before she passed she had me start transferring the funds from her checking account with her and my uncle name on it to the one with my name and her name on it so i can start signing the checks because she was to weak to due to her cancer. when she passed i had to pay all her funeral cost and currently final expenses because my uncle refused to help a few days after she passed i did withdraw 1000 out of the checking with her and my uncle name on it so i can continue to pay final expenses he found out and threatening to press charges claiming i was stealing from him but he did not answer or return any calls nor helped put his mother to rest i have multiple witnesses to this i did not realize i could not withdraw the money after she passed because she gave permission to do so while she was alive it was for no other intent but to pay her final expenses since he refused to do so
