The city forced me to vacate my own personal residence claiming a nuisanse abatement. Specifically, I didnt have power through NV Energy. They hired a contractor to board up the windows and doors and secure the property. The contractor failed to board up the back of the house and subsequently the house was broken into. I called Metro PD and they refused to enter the property due to the abatement. I placed more than a dozen calls to the Code Enforcement office and the various officers whose numbers I had over the next 7 days and never got a call back. The house was robbed repeatedly and on the 8th day I finally spoke to a Supr who was sending another crew to secure it. Is the city liable for this?
You own the house at the time ? Why was property remaining in house?
If so Cory could be responsible
