Iam currently renting to own a mobile home. Since January we have had 3 different people running our main office in the park. Just recently when then last lady got into the office I have been having so many problems with them saying I'm behind in rent, not getting any info on my account and communication with my landlord. Back in November my landlord filed for a eviction against me saying I didn't pay rent for September and October however I have receipts from paying in September and October. Every time I asked for info on my account on how am I behind she always gives me some kind of excuse. I did reply to the eviction asking to take it before a judge however I'm not sure if I would need a lawyer for such a complex issue or if all of my receipt and paperwork is enough for the judge.
If you are in doubt as to your ability to defend yourself, it is always advisable to retain counsel. I recommend you do so, especially since you claim to have fully paid all the rent due.
