Me and my cousin had sex with this female. At the time They were both 17 and I was 18. Several months later the daughter texts my cousins phone claiming she’s the mother of the female she will call the police if he doesn’t give her $200. I have no criminal history whatsoever. Should I be worried.
Do not give any money. You could notify the police because she has done something illegal whereas you have not, assuming everything was consensual.
If it was consensual, Tennessee law allows a 17 year old to have sex with someone who is less than 4 years older. Thus if you were 18 and they were 17, no Tennessee laws were broken.
Nothing in this communication should be construed as creating an attorney-client relationship. I provide this service for educational purposes only. I will take no action on your behalf unless you have hired me and a written retainer agreement is signed. I am licensed only in Tennessee and I strongly suggest you consult with an attorney in your city and state as Statute of Limitation deadlines can limit your recovery.
I would certainly not give her any money. That would make you look guilty of something. If all was consensual you should have nothing to worry about.
