My wife went for an interview on July 6th 2017 and she was denied a visa,I petition for her throu i-130.the case was sent back to Uscis in September 2017 upto date I have never heard about anything.the status of the case says it’s being reviewed,how long will it take and what should I do cuz it has took forever.i want to be with my wife .never recieved any letter from Uscis.help me .thank u.
There is a current backlog, with some people waiting two years or more for decisions. In your case, because she was interviewed, you have to be clear - was her application denied, or under review? If it was denied, you may be able to appeal, but an attorney would need to review your file to see if that is possible. Or you may have to file a new application. If her file is under review, then you both need to periodically keep checking in until you get a decision. The location of your wife also matters. Some consulates are much busier than others.
