I have provisional custody by mandate but trying to get temporary custody without having to go to court
Provisional custody by mandate is granted by an affidavit that does not have to be filed in court, and it can be revoked by the grantor at any time for any reason. Temporary legal custody is obtained by filing in court and getting an order signed by a judge. It is enforceable until altered by a new order or judgment.
