The other person in my DV case is Kevin Perkins, he's been on the news recently - he kidnapped and attempted to rape a 16 yr old girl. He became extremely violent after I discovered his 'secret' - he's attracted to little girls. He used violence to keep me quiet. I have a terminal condition. The stress & physical abuse landed me in the hospital 3x in 6 wks. The last visit, DR put me on hospice. DV adv is aware this & how I'm managing (or not). I hardly ever get a response from her & if I do, it lacks much needed info like when I'm required to go to court. I do not want this case to get dropped. He's guilty. I did what's required of me including calling 911 even though I was scared for my life. I won't let the case get dismissed by not showing up. He needs to stay off the streets. I need support. I read my rights as a victim, she isn't doing her job. What do I do? I submitted a complaint to the ombudsman. What can I do to get the much needed assistance NOW? Clearly I wasn't dealing with a regular violent ass, He's a MONSTER. I stand to loose a lot, I'm struggling bad. I can hardly function. I need my rights to be honored at the very least ASAP.
Are you involved in a Criminal case or a civil case or both? Do you have an attorney if you are in a civil case?
If this is a criminal case, call the Prosecutor where the criminal matter is pending and let them know that you have a terminal illness and are in hospice. They can take the needed steps to video your testimony so it can be presented when the trial comes up but they cannot do anything without knowing what is going on.
If this is a civil matter talk to your attorney and tell him or her the same thing: That you are in hospice. They will take needed steps that may be available but those are very limited in civil matters.
As to your complaint about your case worker you have already taken steps to deal with that issue.
