I was recently ticketed for skateboarding at a grocery store after hours. Its a third degree trespassing charge as I have had two prior trespassing charges.I have permission to skate at the grocery store as I've been skating there for years but because it was after hours apparently it doesn't MATTER.My prior cases r closed as I paid all fines and did the unsupervised probation (I'm hoping this helps me out).I can get written letter from the manager of the store saying i have permission to skate their but will that even help me here. This is my first felony charge and I'm very scared I'm going to have to do jail time or that it won't come off my record.
It may not be trespassing if you have permission. I would get that letter from the manager and then go visit an attorney for advice.
