What questions can i ask regarding moving states with a pending DUI?

If your attorney is the public defender, then that is the proper individual to pose all your questions and inquiries. The trial judge is ethically prohibited by the Code of Judicial Ethics to render or provide any advice or counsel to any defendant or litigant in his or her court. It is wholly inappropriate to ask any judge to respond to any specifics in regard to a pending case.
Usually with a misdemeanor the judge will let you travel out of state. You will need to let the DA know and then you raise it at the next status hearing. Don't leave the state without permission from the judge. However, the court system is going to be starting misdemeanor trials soon. If you intend to try this case, you will need to be prepared to travel back to Alaska.
I’m a lawyer, I’m not your lawyer. This answer posted on Avvo is for informational and educational purposes only. There is no attorney-client relationship created or formed and you should not rely on this as legal advice. The suggestion is made that if you wish to protect your rights, you consult with an attorney immediately.,
