I would like to file a contempt of court against my child's father for not paying child support. Child support filed but got denied because they said something about he not working. He does work and he's been saying he doesn't. He owns his own business for 7 years. He put that business and anything else he can under his mother's name. He just bought a house. What proof do I need to get? I have proof that he bought a house and would me going to the place of business and taking photos be sufficient?
If you can, hire an attorney who can walk you through the process and subpoena records or request them through the discovery process to prove he is making income. Also, contact Department of Revenue who may be able to assist. Good luck!
