I want to challenge a stop I believe was done illegally and exclude any evidence derived from it. I am looking for some citations to authority. If you know and important excerpts those would be great to.
The amount of information you are looking for greatly exceeds the character limit here. You should hire lawyer to represent you as the action you seem to be taking requires far more than just citing a few cases. Unless you are expert at writing memoranda of law you are getting in way over your head.

The precedent is far too numerous to give on this forum. What you need is specifically tailored legal advice concerning your circumstances. You get that by hiring an attorney, or you will need to read probably at least 50 cases from the US Supreme Court, and at least as many from State appellate courts. There is no shortcut available on this forum for what you ask.

Do yourself a favor and hire an attorney. If you want to challenge on the basis you indicate - it is not a DIY activity. Hiring a lawyer will be money well spent.
Sorry, but this site is for general legal questions. Its not a substitute for representation. If you wish to represent yourself, be prepared to do the work. If you want a lawyer to do the work, be prepared to pay.
I actually remember having 2-3 search and seizure classes devoted specifically to the laws regarding Traffic Stops not to mention that every stop is fact specific and needs to be researched to find a case that closely matches the facts in your case. There is no way to adequately explain the precedent to a layperson in a paragraph or two. Try reading one of the many guidebooks or treatises on search and seizure law relating to traffic stops.
