I recently moved into Baypoint Apts in Corpus Christi. Upon move in on 11/22/19 I noticed the apartment was not move in ready. However they did make it right.
Today I received a call from the property manager stating I’m in violation of my lease they stated to me that they had 2 complaints that marijuana smell was coming from my balcony. When I Out of town on business I have a me friend check on my place. He does not live there.
What’s got me frustrated is I don’t do drugs and where do they get off falsely accuse me what can be done?
You should consider preparing a letter to mail by certified mail, return receipt requested, to the property manager to set out the facts and to request the relief that you want. Request substantiation for the allegations, such as time of day and the particular dates at issue. Make sure that the letter is professional and businesslike, as it may be evidence later.
