I go to the University of North Florida, In the spring semester I paid off my bill on January 20th. The university messed up and charged me the wrong amount which caused me to pay less then I should have. I did not know there was a mess up, there was no indication that I was charged the wrong amount. They found the mistake on June 29th. On July 2nd there was a $4,000 charge on my account that is required to be paid by Monday July 9th. This is not possible for me to pay as I rely on Federal Finical aid to cover my tuition. What options do I have?
You may want to talk with them and see if they will agree to a payment plan, based on their having made a billing mistake.
