My passport is on my maiden name, my Green Card (received a week ago) is on my married name (a combination of my maiden and my husband's last names, first name is the same on both documents). What last name should I use on international airline tickets.
thank you in advance.
The tickets are supposed to match your passport - but you really should have your married name added to your passport to make travel easy.
To avoid any future problems, you should have your passport issued in the same name as recorded in the resident card. You also can request the re-entry permit to match the name in the resident card.
You should go to your native country's embassy to have a new passport issued with your new legal name. Ideally, your social security card, green card, driver's license and now, your passport will all have the same last name.
