My mother wants to hand write a Living Will, without having to go to an attorney/lawyer due to financial difficulties.
The probate code in Iowa Code Chapter 633 identifies the elements required for a will to be valid.

I don't think anything can make a hand written living will effective. Such an important document shouldn't be left to chance.
