I work for one of the largest transit systems in the US. I have recently been going through a battle with my manager and director in regards to unfair, hostile, intimidating, discriminatory, and defamatory actions taken against me; this all stemmed from ADA Accommodation(s) I was seeking and then it snowballed into something bigger. I have involved HR and the GM of my company but now I believe I need to take legal action with the assistance of EEOC of Maryland. I need to retain an employment attorney to help me with what's going on. There has been many employees that have left the company or department that I work for because of my director's hostile and intimidating tactics. Currently, I am waiting to hear back from the appeal of my ADA Accommodations and the EEOC's next steps with regards to my issues with my director and manager.
You need to hire an attorney that is well-versed in employment litigation. Once the EEOC gives you the permission to sue letter, then you jump right on it and sue them for damages. You can use the Find A Lawyer tab on Avvo to look for attorneys in your area that can take on this kind of lawsuit.

I work on these matters and it seems that you have already started the 1st step in filing w/the EEOC. The EEOC however is not known to be quick, your case can be languishing there for months and years, as is also unfortunately the case in the courts. Having said that, you do seem to have a case.
