Ever since we moved to our house in 2015, our neighbors have been falsely accusing us of messing with them. They’ve called the cops several times saying we’ve thrown rocks, bottles, trash at their property and belongings and even accused us of trying to poison their dogs. Every problem they have, they try to pin it on us, and all without proof. They say they have cameras and keep tabs on what happens around them, but have never shown us proof that supports their accusations. The cops are tired of getting called for every inconvenience and so are we! What kind of legal action can we take and what kind of attorney do I need to contact?
You should consult with an attorney who specializes in protective injunctions (sometimes called restraining orders) in your state regarding the false law enforcement reports and whether or not state law allows you to obtain a protective injunction against harassment. Texas lawyers feel free to chime in!
