I pulling into a parking space at our apartment complex, A child was riding her bike in the parking lot, she saw me and I waited until she moved out of the way of my car before I started to pull in. I don't know exactly what happened but she ended up on the ground, she says the car hit her leg and she fell off her bike. She was able to walk, her mother came down and took her to the er room. I followed in my car, the police were called at the hospital. A report taken there, no citiation to me. The police said normally they wouldn't file a police report on private property but because she's a minor they did. The mother understands it was an accident but how can i protect myself in case?
