Surely you were sent examples of documentary evidence that could serve as proof of your having tasen "affirmative steps" to re-establish your domicile in the US. Select a few you could provide. Examples include, but are not limited to proof of actively seeking a job, rental of a place to live, purchase of a car; etc.
