Whether the courts in China would refuse to recognize any judgment from courts in WA is up to the courts in China.
Unless there are properties in China that the courts in China can seize, why would your wife care about what courts in China do?
WA has no law that would require you to participate in a dissolution proceeding. You can refuse to participate. The WA court will just proceed without your participation.
