I am a renter at a dwelling the offers NJ Low Income Housing Tax Credits. Every November, they force you to meet with the property manager and "redetermine" if your income is still low enough to receive the lower rent rate. If you qualify, you sign your new lease. Well, I did this on November 10. I finally got the word that my fiance and I are able to purchase a house and go to settlement in Feb. My current lease is up Jan 1 and the new one starts Feb 1. When I called my property manager to ask her what date I need to put in my intent to vacate letter, she said 2 months which it says in the new lease. My current lease says to let them know 30 days before the current lease is up if I don't plan on renewing the new lease. What can I do since I already technically signed the new lease for Feb
