My Ex-Wife, filed a child support request from Austrian court, with 15 days time limit to respond.
i failed to respond in timely manner due to me being out of house and traveling.
in the case, it is said that if i do not respond it implies i agree...
and i do not agree...
i am in CA, i am us citizen.
what can Austrian court do to me?
what is the process of enforcement in general?
can i respond later?
can I file a case in california court, since the child and the mother were living in CA? But it seems like the residence of the child is now in Austria.
Initial issue: where was the divorce granted, and did it include child support orders?
Answer to all questions depends on what court has jurisdiction over matter.
Do not submit to jurisdiction of Austrian court if they do not have jurisdiction.
