i was driving my boyfriend's car (hes 19) while im on my permit and we got rearended. once we file a report will i lose the chance of me getting my license?
If you were not accompanied by a driver over the age of 21 then it is as if you were driving without a valid license at all. You could be cited (civilly or criminally) for driving without a valid license which could prevent you from getting your license for a period of time. It could also mean that the other driver is not found "at fault" because you weren't validly licensed. You must have a valid permit for 6 months with a "clean" record before you can apply for a license.
