My refrigerator broke and notified the landlord and technician took 5 days after to check and confirm that it wasn’t fixable and needs to be replaced. Now it’s been 10days since the visit of the technician and still no one has replaced my refrigerator. since then I've called every other days and left msg but no one has called me back.
If you want to speed the process up, you can start an HP Proceeding in Housing Court to compel the landlord to repair the refrigerator. The link below provides information:
Dear Manhattan Tenant:
Your landlord should have delivered a replacement refrigerator the same day, removed the broken refrigerator [to the basement--wait for repair.]
So are you going to wait or go to court? http://www.courts.state.ny.us/COURTS/nyc/housing/startinghp.shtml
