Divorced in 2010 with Joint custody 50% each parent and split weeks. Daughter decided to live with Dad 2 years ago and got a modification that stated we will still share joint custody but mother pay child support until she graduated HS in 2014 and encourage child to visit Mom. It also said that Mom had to pay monthly amount $31.33 for car insurance up to $470 until she graduates. Mom paid that amount and daughter graduated. Father asking for more money towards insurance but she still lives with dad with her own car and does not stay overnight with Mom at all. I believe I have fulfilled my obligation?
Based on the facts presented, you don't have to continue paying towards your daughter's car insurance. Has he taken you back to court on this issue?
