My Aunt died, no will, only living relatives, granddaughter, grandson, nieces and nephews, who can inherit?
Intestate succession follows a down then up pattern. It goes to the children and then grandchildren. If none, back up to the parents of the deceased person and down their line of children. So, if the Aunt had kids, they inherit. If none of them are alive, the grandkids may. No matter what, a probate should be opened to get this all sorted out.
