I had a friend ID, I wanted to get into the casino in lousinia, not because I wanted to gamble, but they needed extra hands to get free drinks(coke) for the friends outside. And the security got me, and a deputy wrote me, I believe a ticket. He said its a misdemeanor summons for a misrepresentation of age. This happens in Lake Charles Louisiana, but I'm from dallas, and he said the summons will be mail to my address. What will happen, and how can I get ready for this?
Without knowing your background and circumstances, its impossible to predict what will happen. But you "can get ready for this" by consulting with a local Louisiana criminal defense attorney, who presumably has had experience in dealing with fake ID cases in the casinos which involve out of state residents.
How do you generally get ready for something that's coming in the mail? Contact a local criminal defense attorney in Lake Charles, Louisiana and retain their services. Your story is very difficult to believe: You went to the casino with a fake ID to help carry drinks? Seriously?? That's one of the best (or worst) stories I've heard lately. You need an attorney and a better explanation--when, there's really NO acceptable explanation for having ID that is not your own. Good luck.

Look on the summons. It should have a court date and time and place. You need to either pay the fine as per the instructions or appear or a warrant will be issued for you if you do not show up for court.
I would have to see the summons. I would call the clerk of court if you have any questions. You don't want to miss that court date for the arraignment.
Contact a local attorney. Calcasieu Parish has a very effective and affordable deferred adjudication procedure for minor criminal matters that results in charges being cancelled after a year.
