Does child support case become default child support if response forms is not mailed back to support center within 30 days? Or does default child support apply only when non-custodial parent doesn’t show up at the court hearing? Or does it apply to both conditions?
If default judgement has been made, a custodial parent can request amount of money like $8000 a month from a non-custodial parent who makes only $5000 a month? Can custodial parents request whatever amount they want to rip off without showing income tax return & other financial information of non-custodial parents?
The state has some access to actual income but generally DCSS can only impute minimum wage to a non-custodial parent who doesn't respond to the request for order and/or to the Complaint unless the custodial parent has actual proof.
