What is considered the second weekend of the month if the first lands on a saturday?
my court order says father to pick up kids on second weekend of month from friday at six till sunday at seven.

It is impossible to answer this question definitively because of the vagueness of the order (and other attorneys might disagree with my opinion); however, my initial impression is that if the weekend is defined as starting on Friday, then the second weekend of the month would be the weekend that includes the second Friday of the month. If the first of a month falls on Saturday, then the first Friday (the 7th) is the start of the "first weekend" and the second Friday (the 14th) is the start of the "second weekend."

In this situation, the first weekend starts at 6:00 on the first Friday of the month. The second weekend therefor starts at 6:00 on the second Friday.
Good luck!

Terrible order cuz since when is FRIDAY considered a weekend day? However, overall since the custodial time encompasses the Friday, Sat and Sunday, I would say that "weekends are defined as commencing the first Friday of the month". wish someone would have added that to your order. sheesh.
Please check your actual Order for when a particular weekend actually begins. Generally the weekend is designated by the first Friday of the month. Therefore, since this month (February) actually started on a Saturday, that was not considered the first weekend of the month. This coming weekend is the second weekend (going by the second Friday of the month).
