Hi. Status quo payments mean that your husband is to continue to maintain the status quo by paying the marital bills such as the mortgage, utilities and other normal expenses as have been paid by him for the family before the divorce was filed. I hope that is helpful to you. Talk to your attorney for more advice and information. Good luck to you.
A status quo payment should be the payment that you are already recieving or the payment that is standard. Hope that helps and take care. just make sure that you understand what the exact amount is and that it is enough to pay for your day to day expenses. take care and hope that things work out.

Generally, there is some interplay between a status quo payment and the payment of child support, since the reasons for the two payments overlap.
You should be discussing this with your attorney.
If your lawyer uses a term you don't understand, you should ask the lawyer to explain it.
