Ten year sentence, five years on probation, I have had my probation extended twice still lowering restitution the judge was extending for another two years then realized then ten years was up and set a date for a review hearing, not the judge nor my post want to incarcerate me cause one asked for an extension and the other had granted it, what is this review hearing for
The review is to check your progress. If you are complete on restitution, then the terminate your probation satisfactorily. If not, then they may extend or revoke your probation and impose the entire suspended sentence. The suspended sentence does NOT run for time on probation, only parole. Unless you have credit for time previously served, then the entire 10 years is still hanging (about 4 years with good time credit, if actually imposed)
DISCLAIMER:I try my best to get picked as "THE BEST ANSWER". However, this ain't legal advice, and I ain't your lawyer. This is just idle chat regarding current events. You probably should to go talk to a lawyer face to face.
