I had a botched surgery in Oct. I have had another surgery to repair that one 10 days later. I now will need a 3rd surgery as I have gotten a hernia from the second surgery. I sent my medical records to an attorney that was recommended to me at the end of Oct. They have not even started on it and have very poor communication skills. Not returning my email etc. They first said they had a lot of end of year court dates and they would get right on it in Jan. Then they went on vacation for a week. No response to 2 emails I sent this week. Is this normal for an attorney's office to behave this way? They came highly recommended so I am trying to hang on, but at this point I feel like I am just getting jerked around.
Lawyers are generally very busy - and if its a reputable firm I would assume they have a reason for not getting back to you as quickly as you would prefer. I would keep trying to contact them and explain your frustration and see if that helps.
