I had a F6 case it got settled and I thought it was reduced to a misdemeanor but now I am not sure and I would like to know exactly what a F6, can I own a gun or vote, dont own one and I dont vote but could I. The real issue for me is I got my passport several months again my case was like 2 years ago but I was supposed to be going to Edinburgh Scotland at the end of this summer and now I am not sure if I can or who or what I should go to find out
You can't own a gun unless it has been reduced to an A misdemeanor (which is not the same thing as a Level 6 Felony). If you are no longer on probation or incarcerated, you can vote.
Check the US state Department website or the website for Great Britain to see whether you ca enter the country with a prior criminal conviction. If you can't get an answer there, call your Congressional representative, They have staff that can answer that question for you.
