My mother is currently serving time in Texas on a five-month sentence. She has pending charges here in Missouri that she still needs to face. She is trying to get extradited back in order to face those charges while still serving her time for Texas. I noticed that yesterday there was a detainer action letter filed on her cases here in Missouri I'm wondering what that means and what to do. Thank you.
Your mother would best be served by hiring an attorney to represent her on her Missouri charges. The details that you've provided above make it very difficult to provide you with any further answers, but a criminal attorney likely would be able to provide you with more information and guidance.
