I was parked in the drive way, roommate who owns property usually ask me to move my my car if she's leaving as she has blind spot in her rear view mirror. She did not....hit my front fender and bumper bad dented and for sure over $500 maybe $2000 - $3000 dollars......she has $500 deductible to her insurance. She ask I go get 3 estimates and she will fix it. Should I do anything else to protect myself, as I trust this person but haven't known her long
Do I need to report it to my insurance what so ever?

your roommates liability coverage will be the one to deal with this. I doubt there is a deductible on this coverage. Call her company and make the claim. There should not be any out of pocket expense for either of you.
Get her to admit fault in writing now so you can relax later. Once she has admitted fault you can sue her easily should she renege on her verbal agreement.
Her deductible does not affect her PD liability coverage. If she has PD coverage then make a claim against her policy. If not she owes you out of pocket.
