I went to car dealership and chose a car to buy then he gave us a quotation to take to the bank. The bank approved my request for a loan but I didn't get time to go and finish up the paperwork. But I paid a deposit to the dealership so he could hold the car for me till I get the bank paperwork signed. I also signed a DMV registration form that day. The following day, I realized I didn't really need to buy a car. I got a different alternative. I called the dealership but they said I had to pay restocking fees and registration fees. My question is, do I pay restocking fees even before I take the car away? I just need to know if am being charged normal fees. Thank you!
