Currently being garnished and the things I am being garnished for have been removed from my credit report.
A credit report is only a report as to what showed up of record. A garnishment is the result of a Court judgment that you owe money to someone. You can prevent garnishment by paying the obligation or getting the judgment set aside. If something has been removed from the credit report, it does not remove the judgment in the court, but might give you some basis for attacking the judgment. If you feel the garnishment if wrongful, contact an attorney for assistance in dealing with the judgment that underlies it.
