What happens if opposing party doesn’t file their opposition to my motion in 10 days?
I filed a motion to enforce and/or show cause against my ex wife for multiple violations of our court order. On it it says she must file a response within 10 days of receipt. FedEx delivered the papers to her on the 12th, so that would mean she has to file her response by the 22nd, correct? Even with the holidays? And if she files after, do I file something to oppose the fact that it’s late? And would I still file a reply to opposition?
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
