I just realized that in our custody agreement, my ex requested that holiday placement for birthdays be from 8 AM to 12 PM alternating years, which was fine with me. But this coming year will be his year for the birthday visit and my daughter's birthday is on a school day. So do the years that happens just get counted as a wash for the birthday? I don't feel that it would necessarily be fair for me to have to rearrange the day over something that should have been a little better planned out on his end when coming up with what he wanted to do for holidays.
Can’t you just switch the time frame by agreement from after school to 8pm for the child’s birthday, if and when it falls on a school day?
