What happens if I stop paying Alimony?
I was married for 10 years, I filed for divorce in 2014 Jan and got divorced in 2016, I have been paying alimony from 2015 as per court order before the divorce date, after I got divorced from the court, it was an agreement made outside the court to pay alimony every month, for the last 5 years I am paying alimony, what happens if I stop paying alimony.

If you don't have a court order to pay alimony, then you can stop paying it - but I suggest giving your ex a heads-up if s/he is depending on it. If you do have a court order, you need to request another order to terminate it.
