As of today my adjuster has stopped my payments and told me that I had 2 choice which was to take a claim payout or vocational rehab at this point don't no what to do and I also qualified for unemployment from my job but haven't filed yet because I was receiving WC
It's a complex situation with many variables. You can't get a viable answer in this setting. I would suggest you consult with one or more experienced workers compensation attorneys to survey your options.
You should not proceed further without a lawyer. These cases are complicated and the insurance company is not looking out for you. You do not have to pay the attorney up front. The get a small percentage of your permanency award.
Vocational rehabilitation benefits do two things. They allow your temporary total disability benefits to continue and the insurance company hires a vocational counselor to help you find a job. The other option they are discussing is a full and final settlement which will close out your case forever. If you are out of work, that money will be gone quickly.
