I got on probation. I had felony charges and pleaded out to misdemeanors. Max time i can get is 125 days in jail. I was just wondering what you have to do on the first visit? Do they drug test that day? Abd if so what happens if i fail the first one? Please help me understand this
Unfortunately I don't know exactly what they do at the initial TASC evaluation. My impression is that they will ask you questions about drug use (what and when) as well as alcohol usage, and they might drug test you depending on the nature of your case and what you tell them about what you've used and when. I suspect that whether or not they test you will depend on how long you've been on probation. If you have only been on for a short time then they may wait a bit to make sure that you don't test positive for something you used prior to being put on probation. If you do test positive they may report it to your PO, but I'm not sure that probation would count that test, would more likely test you again themselves.
