I know most lawyers recommend NOT paying it, but I am choosing to pay via cash, sending it through the mail. How will I be sure they received my payment? Will I be getting any more letters after this?
Mailing cash is a bad idea. Use a money order if you want to pay it. Some lawyers (ie. Michael Ira Asen) allow you to pay online.
