What does unsupervised probation mean?

It means that there is not probation officer for you who is supervising you. You can be drug tested if that is a condition of the probation.
R. Jason de Groot, Esq.,
Unsupervised probation means you agree to not get in trouble during your probationary period, but there is no probation officer for you to see on a regular basis, nor to pop in on you to see if you are keeping to curfew, living where you state you are, etc. The person on probation still must abide by the rules and conditions in place during the probation period, make any ordered payments for costs and fines when due, and completing classes required, if any have been.
If periodic testing is listed as a part of the conditions of probation, then yes, you can be tested. Not every probation requires periodic testing.
