My son is sitting in jail in Maine waiting to be seen in court on February 17th. Going on 1 month now. Bail is on hold per Probation Officer. PO claims he broke violation bc he was arrested and charged with Felony DV, OBSTRUCTION OF REPORTING CRIME, CRIMINAL MISCHIEF. Victim made false statements, wanted him held for Alcohol problem, hoping overnight. Case has taken many different turns, none for the good. Victim has since retracted statement. Son is represented bycourt appointed lawyer.
My assumption is that the motion to revoke his probation will be heard at the same time as the trial on the new charges.
