I initially applied for Disability in 2014 on my own, got denied. Then got a lawyer the next day. Had an ALJ hearing January 12th 2016 and got the decision of denial less than a month later. Fast forward 2 years and 2 denials within a 4 month period then on to another ALJ hearing. The appeal was started July 15th 2016. And finally the hearing March 14th 2018. The SSA website showed on July 19th, Appeal Under Review : A medical decision has been made and we are working to process your decision. So wondering what all this means? I have also applied for SSDI and it says the same thing. Thanks
It means that they are in the process of writing the decision based on the decision that the ALJ made concerning your case. The decision may have been a FAVORABLE or an UNFAVORABLE ruling. You cannot tell at this time. Once the written decision is drafted, the ALJ will then review and sign off on it. You will receive a copy of the decision in the mail.
