His mom has residential custody of him and his 10 yo sister. Both don't like living with her. She's always putting down their father to them. Is getting ready to marry a man she has only known for 4 months and refuses to listen to their concerns of not being comfortable around this guy. She just gave us a 21 day notice of change of address where she is moving them to the country where they have no one to play with. They have been raised in town so this is a big shock on top of a 2nd new school in a year. What are the options since the 13 yo is refusing to go back to her?

In Kansas, the father will need to file a motion to modify residency and parenting time. He should schedule a consultation with an experienced family law attorney to try to accomplish this.
